Troubleshoot Syncing or Pairing Issues

If you're having trouble syncing cards and settings from the Coin mobile app to your Coin, here are a few simple things to try:

1. Please ensure you have installed the latest version of the app. If you install a new version of the app, you will need to re-sync your cards and settings to Coin. Be sure to update the app versus uninstalling and re-installing. If you uninstall, you will need to re-add your cards.


2. With the latest version of the app installed, please complete the following steps with a reliable Internet/data connection.

  • Reset Coin: see instructions here
  • Forget Coin, iOS only: see instructions here
  • Unpair Coin: see below
  • Sync Coin: see below

  • If you have never been able to sync your cards and settings to your Coin, please skip this step.
  • Click the Settings icon in your mobile app
  • Tap Unpair Coin

Sync Coin

  • In the wallet screen, tap Sync Coin
  • Select the cards you want to send to Coin and tap Sync

Your cards and settings should sync to your Coin successfully.
